Specular Microscope

This is the new non-contact specular microscope EM-3000 by Tomey. This machine is used to monitor the number, density, and quality of endothelial cells that line the back of the cornea.

It is often referred to as a "cell count machine" because it counts the endothelial cells. It also measures central cornea thickness.
